Xiamen King Long New Light Buses Export in Batches for the First Time

www.chinabuses.org: Recently 180 new Kinglong light buses passed Xiamen Inspection and Quarantine Bureau to sailed to Egypt. And this is the first large scale export of Kinglong Bus in 2010.
Their first light bus production base was established in Xiaman Auto Industrial Park in 2007 with total investment of $280m and 140,000 m??2, and its annual production capability is up to 30,000 units. Kinglong first light bus rolled off the production line at the same year, and firstly they were released in overseas markets. And the light bus enter domestic markets in late 2008.

After three years development, Kinglong light bus emerge like a dark horse, and its sales volumes entered first six in industry fast. In 2009, Kinglong light buses made breakthrough in both domestic and overseas markets, and their annual sales surpassed 4,000 units, up 282.5% over 2008. And they exported 1,561 buses, ranking the third from previous sixth.
