Recently, a batch of Foton AUV duel power source trolley buses equipped with one-button automatic disinfection systems officially started operation in Guangzhou, the provincial capital of Guangdong province. According to Foton AUV, the new bus is able to spray disinfectant to its whole interior in 30 seconds and complete the disinfection process in just two minutes.

With highly efficient disinfectant on board, Foton AUV duel power source trolley buses will take temperatures of all passengers and send alarms when some passengers fail to wear facial masks or have abnormally high temperatures.

Equipped with lithium iron phosphate batteries with a power storage of 80.21 kWh, Foton AUV duel power source trolley bus are powered by batteries and electric grid. Thus, it does not require special recharging posts. Generating little noise and achieving high energy efficiency, the bus provides more travel comforts and greener transportation services for passengers. In addition, it has designated special areas for those physically challenged passengers and passengers with small children. Passengers can also press a special button to get timely help from bus drivers.
