On December 1st ,the delivery ceremony of 174 HIGER city buses to Serbia was held in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, and was attended by Deputy Mayor of Belgrade, General Manager of Belgrade Bus Company, Tang Xiaodong， Economic and Commercial Counsellor of the Chinese Embassy in Serbia, Jiang Haifeng， General Manager of HIGER Overseas Sales Company, and Zhang Hui，Assistant General Manager of HIGER Overseas Sales Company. The representative of HIGER handed over the vehicle to the Belgrade Bus Company at the scene. Since then, 174 brand-new HIGER city buses will move on the streets of Belgrade to serve local public transportation. What’s worth mentioning is that this batch of buses is not only the largest batch of Chinese passenger cars exported to Serbia, but also the largest single order in one contract exported to the European market in history.

The Deputy Mayor of Belgrade said that their target is to provide new buses to citizens and this batch of buses is one of the largest single batch bus procurement in the history of Belgrade’s city transportation. He also emphasized that this batch is superior in quality and has passed the test of the driver with "zero failure" in the early test drive. He indicated that the cooperation between Serbia and the PRC is close and friendly, and expressed his thanks to the support of Chinese government and enterprises.

Tang Xiaodong, Economic and Commercial Counsellor of the Chinese Embassy in Serbia, said, “Today is a significant day for Belgrade and HIGER. We hope that our bus can provide a comfortable, reliable, and greater public transportation experience to local citizens.”

Jiang Haifeng, General Manager of HIGER Overseas Sales Company, expressed that buses from HIGER have been sold to more than 120 countries worldwide right now. For HIGER, Serbia is an important market and it’s glad to have the opportunity to provide quality and efficient service to citizens in Belgrade.

The General Manager of Belgrade Bus Company showed that new cars mean more reliable transportation service to users. In the future, the company will also increase investment to provide better public mobility service to citizens.
