On April 16, Auto Shanghai 2019 was opened. HIGER signed a strategic cooperation agreement with CATARC and QYEV, releasing the L4 class driverless electric bus Pro-Blue that is jointly developed by them. Pro-Blue appeared with the body dimension of 4330*2060*2630mm (L*W*H), 7 seats and maximum passenger capacity of 14 people, integrating high safety, high technology and high performance. It is equipped with dozens of safe and reliable configurations from the same suppliers as C919 such as all-aluminum body, permanent magnet synchronous motor drive, electro-hydraulic power steering system, IP68 waterproof rating, independent air suspension, etc. In particular, it is worth mentioning that Pro-Blue is equipped with hydraulic double-circuit brake system, front and rear disc brakes, ESC brake-by-wire, drive motor auxiliary brake, mechanical handle emergency brake and cable type EPB parking brake, providing a comprehensive guarantee for brake safety. In addition, Pro-Blue is equipped with air conditioning remote control, passenger door remote control, wireless charging, electronic parking, front and rear windshield defrosting, touch display multimedia system and so on.

Pro-Blue can be applied not only in scenic ring line, high-end real estate exhibition area, autonomous driving demonstration area and exhibition hall, but also will be put into operation in the intelligent connectivity demonstration area of CATARC in the future, providing a data basis for the development of standards for driverless bus.
