HIGER was Unveiled at the First Algeria Setif Import and Export Expo

The first Setif Import and Export Expo was opening on November 18th. Mr. Said Djellab, the Commerce Minister, came to guide and attended the opening ceremony. This Expo had attracted nearly 50 exhibitors from all over the world to participate in the Expo. Local dealers of HIGER participated in the Expo with three bus models, KLQ6108G, KLQ6119Q and KLQ6540C, which were produced by Higer KD factory in Algeria.
After the opening ceremony, Minister Said Djellab and his delegation, accompanied by local government staff of Setif, visited various booths of the Expo. When passing the booth of GM Group, chairman of GM Group warmly greeted Mr. Said and introduced some products of GM Group to him. The progress of HIGER’s factory in Algeria is mainly reported, which had been highly recognized by Mr. Said.
It has been more than 10 years since HIGER entered Algeria market in 2007, and cumulative sales has reached over 7000 buses, which ranked first in China bus industry. At present, the Algeria KD project is carrying out in full strength. 20 buses and 68 vans finished in SKD workshop have been delivered within only one month, and the CKD workshop will also be completed and put into production in December. From year 2018 to 2019, Higer’s plan is to reach the target annual output of 1000 buses. Step by step, by making each bus perfect, Higer will ensure each bus manufactured in Algeria can fully meet requirements of the customers.
Through this Expo, HIGER has further expanded its local brand awareness and influence. HIGER will fully cooperate with the dealers to enhance localization rate of bus production and will work together with GM Group unreservedly to build the KD factory in Setif.(www.chinabuses.org)
