Early this year, 50 units 10.5-meter CRRC electric buses were put into operation in Daxing District, Beijing. Since then, these vehicles have been providing greener and more convenient transportation services for local passengers.

According to CRRC, all these 50 units buses are operated by Beijing Xingshunda Passenger Transportation Co., Ltd., which now boasts a bus fleet wholly powered by electricity.

Statistics have shown that CRRC 10-meter electric bus is able to help the bus operator save fuel costs by 143,333 RMB and maintenance costs by 10,000 RMB each year.

“These buses (CRRC electric buses) has been performing consistently well and passengers have also been quite impressed by their performances,” said Tian Jinbiao, General Manager of Beijing Xingshunda Passenger Transportation Co., Ltd.

CRRC Yunzhitong Intelligent System, which is mounted on all CRRC electric buses, has also been playing a vital role in improving the bus operator’s vehicle management, helping the bus operator obtain real-time knowledge about the vehicle’s power storage, temperatures and drivers’ driving behaviors.
