Higer Bus 6th Overseas Business Conference Held in Suzhou

On April 24, Higer Bus 6th Overseas Business Conference was held at the Doubletree by Hilton in Suzhou with more than 150 Higer distributors and cooperative partners from all over the world. The conference’s theme is “Future in Bus”. The Managing Director of Higer Bus Mr. Huang Shuping, Service Director of Higer Bus Mr. Xie Jianghong, Vice General Manager of Overseas Sales Company Mr. Gary Jiang, Director of Overseas Service Department Sam Zhang and staffs of Overseas Sales & Customer Service attened the conference.
At the conference, The Managing Director of Higer Bus Mr. Huang Shuping first expressed his warm welcome and heartfelt thanks to the guests from afar. He briefly analyzed the development trend of science and technology nowadays and the domestic macro environment. At present, “Made in China” is transforming into “Wisdom in China”, and creating high-quality & high-performance products has been a new consensus for everyone. In the future, buses will also develop in the direction of new energy sources, driving intelligence, equipment informatization, and wireless charging and so on.
Since its founding 20 years ago, Higer has always been committed to public transport and has been rapidly responding to changes in market demand. It has now grown into a large-scale bus manufacturer with an annual production capacity of 35,000 vehicles which are exported to more than 100 countries and regions. In the future, Higer will continue to adhere to the development philosophy of “people-oriented, win-win cooperation”, insist on the concept of innovation-driven, technology-led, and continuously upgrade the buses in intelligence, lightweight and low carbonization to provide a more green and convenient mobility environment.
Mr. Huang Shuping also highlighted some of the company’s major projects. In 2018, the shareholders of the company continue to favor the development of Higer and decide to increase the capital of 1 billion yuan this year to lay a solid financial foundation for the next-step development of the company. The new energy test center with an investment of 157 million yuan will be put into operation this year, which will fully enhance the R&D and testing capability of Higer’s new energy. The water solvent painting technology project with an investment of 240 million yuan will significantly increase the company’s green production capacity. At the same time, Higer has carried out in-depth research in the field of unmanned driving and electric buses, and has worked closely with universities such as Tsinghua University and Beijing Institute of Technology to lay a good foundation for the new round of development.
Vice General Manager of Overseas Sales Company Mr. Gary Jiang reviewed the development history of Higer’s overseas market in the past 20 years and the 3+2 strategic plan for future development. Higer will focus on the three major industrial clusters of conventional buses, new energy buses, and automotive aftermarket, and adhere to the customer-centered principle as well as market-oriented approach to provide customers with cost-effective products and considerate and thoughtful services. Sam Zhang, Director of Overseas Customer Service Department, introduced the key work of overseas customer service in the next two years. From now on, Higer will work together with the vast number of suppliers to jointly improve the support capabilities of accessories from the aspect of field service, after-sales training, warranty business management, product quality improvement, accessories supply, etc. so as to comprehensively improve customer satisfaction. Representatives of distributors and cooperation parters also made wonderful speeches, reviewed their cooperation history with Higer, and expressed their confidence and desire for common development with Higer.
