King Long: A Strong Driving Force in Russia

Through the railway from Xiamen to Moscow, the two cities have never been so close to each other. A lot of products made in Xiamen, including King Long buses, are making their way to Russia through the railway.
Journalist: In the past, products in Xiamen must travel by ships or planes to arrive in Russia. Since April 21 this year, companies from both sides have been blessed with an extra choice---Sino-Russia Fixed Railway Route. As of the end of July, seven round trips have been made from Xiamen to Moscow, bringing a variety of goods to people on both sides. From Kaliningrad in the west to Vladivostok in the east in the expansive Russia, Xiamen King Long buses can now be seen in most cities of the country.
“In the past, it took at least 30 days for our products to arrive in Russia. Nowadays, thanks to the opening of Sino-Russia railway, it only takes about 14 days from Xiamen to Moscow”, says Maxim, General Manager of Xiamen Pagoda Construction Materials Co., Ltd.
Journalist: After fourteen days, the products from Xiamen finally arrived in Moscow. The railway has brought the two countries and people from the two nations ever closer to each other.
At 2017 FIFA Confederation Cup to be held in Russia soon, King Long buses were designated as the official carriers for the distinguished guests. King Long’s distributor in Russia thus made a special visit to Xiamen to take a closer look at King Long vehicles. King Long staff revealed to Mike, General Manager of Euro-Asia Transport Company based in Russia that thanks to the special materials, the window glass would remain transparent even in cold days when the heating system is turned on inside.
Since its first entry into Russian market in 2007, King Long buses have been working smoothly for a decade. After going through a number of upgrading improvements, King Long buses have long adapted to the local operation conditions. With larger seats and thicker glass, King Long buses have been providing much more comfortable travel services for people in Russia.
“From 2009 to 2014, we sold 150-200 units King Long buses each year. In recent three years, many state-owned enterprises in Russia chose to buy travel coaches made by King Long”, says Mike.
After a thorough health check, a new batch of King Long buses will set off on their long journey to Russia.
Currently, the number of King Long high-end travel coaches in Russia has reached 1,000 units. Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, Russia’s president, and Dmitri Anatolyevich Medvedev, Russia’s premier, have both taken rides with King Long buses, speaking highly of the vehicles’ smooth performances.
“King Long buses boast wide recognition in the world. Having obtained certificates from Europe, we firmly believe that these vehicles made by King Long are highly reliable”, says Ivan, Sales Manager of Euro-Asia Transport Company.
